Students of Class 8th–10th can participate in GTSE. Take the Pre Screening
Exam at school level or online on 27th September 2026, followed by the
offline Mega Main Exam on 31st October 2026. Registration fee
₹300 — now available at an Offer Fee of just ₹100.

I registered offline at the Buddha Colony office and it took ten minutes. The Pre Exam had no fee, so there was really no reason not to try — and I ended up with a waiver.

GOAL Talent Search Examination is an assessment conducted by GOAL to identify talented school students and provide recognition and scholarship opportunities.

The Pre-Screening Examination is the first stage of GTSE. It is conducted to identify talented and
eligible students who will be shortlisted for the Mega Main Examination.
Students who perform well in the Pre-Screening Examination will qualify for the next stage.
The Mega Main Examination is the second and final stage of GTSE for students who qualify through
the Pre-Screening Examination.
It is a larger-scale competitive examination conducted by GOAL to identify and recognize high
performing students.
No, Once you register online you can give online prelim screening exam and on qualifying the same you can sit for mega main exam at same cost. No need to register again for mega main exam.
Only students who qualify the Pre-Screening Examination according to the prescribed GTSE qualification criteria will be eligible to appear for the Mega Main Examination.
The Mega Main Examination will be conducted in offline mode at the respective District
Headquarters in Offline Mode.
Students qualifying for the Mega Main Examination will be informed about their designated
examination centre and other examination details by GOAL.
The regular examination fee under the current GTSE offer is ₹100. So that more talented students
can participate in the Mega Main Examination without the examination fee becoming a barrier.
The objective is to provide deserving students with a wider opportunity to compete and showcase
their talent.
GOAL will communicate the Pre-Screening result and qualification status through the official
communication channels like SMS, Website & WhatsApp.
